Denby Dale Amateur Radio Society was founded over 40 years ago at the Pie Hall, Denby Dale, a village famous since 1788 for giant pies.
Meetings were in a first-floor room or the ground-floor hall, which has disabled access.
Due to the current situation meetings are via zoom until further notice (see above, 7:30pm start).
We did meet on the
first and third Wednesdays in the month for an 8pm start.
On the other Wednesdays, we often gathered around 8pm for a night on the air.
Our Sunday net is at 10.30am via the GB3HD repeater (433.225MHz) and is still running.
We compete in contests, arrange special events and offer training for all levels of the amateur radio licence.
